On completing my degree in Textile Design I was determined to find a way of life and a work environment which would enable me to use my craft and design skills in a positive way.

I am passionate about the many different groups, social enterprises and Non-governmental Organisations who use Traditional craft skills to rebuild communities, financially empower women and help people to live better lives. I have found that working towards a true purpose, alongside people whose lives are affected by your designs focuses your skill and demands of you products which have a clear saleability.

I am passionate about advocating the power of rebuilding craft communities and supporting the development of an emerging empowered female population in developing countries.
